How to EnableTwo Factor Authentication 2FA on WHM Panel Print

Step 1: Log in to WHM

Access your WHM panel by entering your root credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Two-Factor Authentication

In the WHM dashboard, use the search bar to locate "Two-Factor Authentication" under the Security Center.

Step 3: Click on "Manage My Account" and Scan the QR Code across all the devices that will access to the WHM panel with root user.

Step 4: Link Your Authenticator App

1. Open your authenticator app on your smartphone.
2. Scan the QR code displayed on the WHM interface. If your device cannot scan the QR code, manually enter the provided Account and Key information into your app.

Step 5: Verify and Complete Setup

1. The authenticator app will generate a six-digit security code.
2. Enter this code into the "Security Code" field in WHM.
3. Click "Configure Two-Factor Authentication" to finalize the setup.

Upon successful configuration, WHM will confirm that 2FA is now active on your account. For future logins, after entering your password, you'll be prompted to provide a six-digit code from your authenticator app.
